Haldighati is in Rajsamand district, in the Mewar part of Rajasthan. People usually combine it with Udaipur. From the usual hub this is a full day. It is a poor clip-on to another fort the same morning.
Sun and heat, as a Mewar tendency: April heat builds in the city even if the ridge stays better. May is hot in Udaipur and Chittorgarh. Start early. Winter is comfortable. Shade and water matter more than another stop.
