Molela is in Rajsamand district, in the Mewar part of Rajasthan. People usually combine it with Nathdwara. It is close enough to its usual hub that the journey can be part of a day, if you do not bolt on a second major sight.
Rain months at Molela: July greens the Aravalli around Mewar. Some roads slow. August is the lush month. A boat still depends on water level. September can be beautiful and humid. Kilns are hot in every season. Winter is kinder for you. Green country is not the same thing as an open road or an open zone.
