What if my question is not in the library?
The site will say it could not find a verified answer. It will not invent one. You will see the closest stored questions and categories.
Can I save a question without an account?
Yes. Saved questions, guides, tools and recent searches stay in this browser until you remove them.
Why do some answers ask me to verify a fact?
District boundaries, fees, train times, schemes and exam rules change. Those records are marked and dated. Evergreen history and culture are written more directly, still with sources.

What is Desert National Park?
Quick answer
Desert National Park covers a large arid landscape in Jaisalmer and Barmer. It is habitat for the Great Indian Bustard, called godawan, and for other desert wildlife. Entry is regulated.
Detailed answer
This is not the same thing as a commercial dune camp at Sam. The national park has restricted areas because the bustard is critically endangered. Do not drive off a permitted track to look for one. Disturbance is part of why the bird is in trouble.
A Jaisalmer trip can include a regulated visit if the current rules allow it. Ask the forest office, not a hotel tout, what is permitted this month.
