Rajasthan is India’s largest state by area. A first week is one line of cities, not the whole map. October to March is the kind window for most visitors. Summer heat on the plains is serious, and monsoon greens the east and south.

No. It is an independent knowledge and planning library. Recruitment notices, ticket prices, exam dates and results must be checked on the official site named in the answer.
Where do the answers come from?
From files stored with this website. Search runs in your browser. There is no live feed from a government server.
What if my question is not in the library?
The site will say it could not find a verified answer. It will not invent one. You will see the closest stored questions and categories.
Can I save a question without an account?
Yes. Saved questions, guides, tools and recent searches stay in this browser until you remove them.
Why do some answers ask me to verify a fact?
District boundaries, fees, train times, schemes and exam rules change. Those records are marked and dated. Evergreen history and culture are written more directly, still with sources.
How the state was formed
The unions from 1948 to 1956. Rajasthan Day is 30 March.
The state was assembled in stages, not on one morning. The assembly table begins with the Matsya Union on 17 March 1948. Some textbooks say 18 March. Then the Rajasthan Union on 25 March, Udaipur on 18 April, Greater Rajasthan on 30 March 1949, Matsya’s merger on 15 May 1949, Sirohi on 26 January 1950, and the States Reorganisation on 1 November 1956.
30 March 1949 is Rajasthan Day: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer came into the union and Jaipur became the capital. Ajmer joined only in 1956. If a question says “when was Rajasthan formed?”, read whether it means the day or the final boundary.
